- The next 4 digits form a sequential number for the PPO.

- The last digit is a check digit to ensure accuracy.

How to Find Your PPO Number

If you're wondering how to locate your PPO number, here’s what you need to do:

- For active users, you can find your PPO number on the EPFO portal.

- For deceased family members, it’s more challenging. Without knowing their UAN and password, you won’t be able to retrieve the PPO number directly. In such cases, you must contact PF customer care or visit the nearest PF office for assistance.

Go to https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php and select Services and the choose "For Employees.

Select Pensioner's Portal from the Services Tab. A new Pension portal will be opened.

On the left hand side you can refer the PPO options , select "Know your PPO No"

You can get your PPF number from 2 methods:

Provide Bank details which is linked with your EPFO account.

Or you can use your PF Member account number to get your PPO number.

Keep your PPO number to access easily whenever required.
