Creating an account on Laztwordz is easy. Simply provide your basic details like email ID, phone number, name, and date of birth. Once you've registered, you'll be given cloud storage space to upload your memories.

A Receiver is the person you choose to receive the data you've entered on Laztwordz after your demise. This ensures that your memories are passed on to the right person, preserving your legacy.

A Trustee is the person you designate to inform Laztwordz about your demise. They need to submit the necessary form along with your death certificate or medical certificate from an authorized hospital. Laztwordz will then verify the documents and close your account securely.

Upon receiving the necessary documents from the Trustee, Laztwordz will verify the information to confirm the user's demise. This ensures that data is released only when necessary and to the right recipient.

Before handing over the user’s Digital legacy™ to the Receiver, Laztwordz will confirm the Receiver's email address through a phone call. Once verified, an email containing a downloadable link with OTP security will be sent to the Receiver. This link allows them to access the data you've stored.

Laztwordz prioritizes the security of your data. We use AWS cloud storage, renowned for its safety features. All data stored is end-to-end encrypted, preventing Laztwordz employees from accessing or viewing your information. Our website is SSL certified, ensuring secure transmission of data.

The data handed over to the Receiver will be stored for a duration of 30 days. After this period, the data will be permanently deleted from cloud storage, maintaining your privacy and security.

In this case, the user can choose their Trustee as an executioner Trustee, which means the data will be transferred through the Trustee to the receiver. Understand Executioner Trustee with an easy Example: User: James Receiver: Sophia (James's 2-year-old daughter) Executioner Trustee: Isabella (James's wife) James (The user) faces a unique situation where he wants to ensure his data is passed on to his daughter Sophia, even though she is too young to have an email ID. To address this, James designates his wife Isabella as the Executioner Trustee. This means that Isabella will act as an intermediary to receive the data on behalf of Sophia. In the unfortunate event of James's demise, his data will be securely shared with Isabella (The Executioner Trustee). Isabella will be entrusted with safeguarding the data until Sophia reaches the age of maturity. Once Sophia becomes old enough, Isabella will pass on James's legacy by sharing the data with her. This will enable Sophia to learn more about her father's love for her and gain a deeper understanding of her father's life. This setup ensures that despite Sophia's young age and lack of an email ID, she will eventually be able to access and appreciate the meaningful information left behind by her father.

Laztwordz places the highest importance on safeguarding data until it reaches the intended recipients. Simultaneously, timely membership renewal is crucial for Laztwordz to enhance its services. Users are provided with a generous window of 75 days to renew their membership plan. During this period, Laztwordz maintains communication with the user through calls, messages, and emails to facilitate successful renewal and preserve cherished memories. However, in the unfortunate event that a user fails to renew their membership within the 75-day timeframe, the following steps will occur: The data will be retained in the cloud for an additional period of 25 days. After this 25-day grace period, if renewal still has not occurred, the data will be permanently deleted. Laztwordz's commitment to maintaining a balance between data preservation and user engagement.

It is the User’s Responsibility to keep the contact information of the Receivers and Trustees updated on the website, any incorrect information leads to the delay in delivering the memories. Laztwordz continues to improve the checkpoints to make sure the details provided are correct, this cannot be completely ensured without user’s support.
